HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 18

Requesting the Governor of the State of West Virginia to issue an executive order proclaiming disabled citizens of the state to be included in the Golden Mountaineer Discount Program.

Whereas, The Golden Mountaineer Discount Program was established by executive order in 1980 to "enrich the lives of West Virginia's older citizens"; and

Whereas, The disabled citizens of this State would also benefit from the Golden Mountaineer Discount Program; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Governor of West Virginia is hereby requested to issue an executive order proclaiming disabled citizens of the State to be included in the Golden Mountaineer Discount Program; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Rehabilitative Services be directed to issue Golden Mountaineer cards for all the disabled; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Governor.
